Crypto King Documentary Review — from a contrarian CEO

All right, so a 7.5/10 documentary, the full name is “Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King”. Go watch it, else this article won’t make sense.

I read this Quadriga exchange scam article the night before by Vanity Fair which was also great. I guess Vanity Fair launched right after the documentary as an SEO strategy. Yup, the world we live in.

But the documentary’s essentially the same as the Vanity Fair article, I’m guessing VF copied NF here.

Anyhow, various characters in the documentary, and thus various opinions of mine.

Okay, so first, who stroke me most?

The uneducated investors. The first guy invested 200k in this exchange to save on a 3% transfer fee or something. Sold his condo and shit. Like this is fine dude, but then to humiliate yourself even more and accept to be featured in a documentary, blaming and pointing fingers? I’ve rarely seen such levels of self-destruction. Of greed, ego and public humiliation. All on tape.

Normal people won’t see this, but this guy man, throughout the whole documentary, he just digs his hole. Part of a defrauded Quadriga conspiracy theory group that just blames everyone except himself. No clear purpose in life. This is what stroke me most. The community of awkward crypto bros…
