any nationalist rhetoric is a dumb short term waste of timen. it’ll win you short term emotional votes but destroy the future. A “Local Quebec Business”, “Proudly Mexican” or “Made in China”, all bullshit. People that compete at scale wins.

We live in a globalized word. Yellow trades with blue. Red with pink and orange with grey. It’s purely about the value, not the origin.

Ppl that close down their borders will risk competitive setbacks. France can try to protect their workers but Silicon Valley’s shipping at 100X the speed and quality won’t have these workers jobs for long. It’s full open competition and AI will only accelerate this. This all leads to one trading world, with multiple communities.

Most politicians are not business folks. Actually, most are sales people without any ops or product knowledge, the most toxic combo. The world’s a reflection of that now. Countries have grown unpredictably cuz the lack of data and scientific approach. These pols convince but do not deliver. The system made to elect them doesn’t help either.

I seek to bring a change to this in the next few years.
